Terms of Service

Draft for review. Last updated October 2026. These terms have not yet been reviewed by an attorney and should be before Box Drivers charges any fee.

1. What Box Drivers is, and is not

Box Drivers (“the Service”) is an online listing and matching service. Companies (“Shippers”) post delivery jobs. Independent drivers (“Drivers”) browse those jobs and express interest. The Service gives both sides tools to communicate and keep records.

Box Drivers is not a motor carrier, freight broker, freight forwarder, dispatcher, employer, or agent of any user. Box Drivers does not arrange transportation, does not select or assign Drivers, does not set or negotiate prices, does not take possession of freight, and does not collect, hold, or transmit payment between Shippers and Drivers.

2. Deliveries are between the Shipper and the Driver

Every delivery is an agreement made directly between a Shipper and a Driver. Box Drivers is not a party to that agreement. The Shipper and the Driver alone are responsible for its terms, for performing it, for the freight, for payment, and for compliance with all laws that apply to them, including licensing, insurance, safety, hours of service, and tax obligations.

Drivers are independent businesses. Nothing in the Service creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between Box Drivers and any user, or between Shippers and Drivers.

3. No guarantees about users, loads, or payment

Box Drivers does not guarantee, endorse, or vouch for any Driver, Shipper, load, vehicle, document, rating, or payment. Information in listings and profiles is provided by users and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

Markers such as “Documents on file” and “Profile reviewed” mean only that a user supplied documents or details and that Box Drivers looked at them for legibility and stated expiry dates. They are not a background check, a verification of identity, a validation of any license, authority, or insurance with an issuing agency, or an assurance of safety, quality, or fitness. Reviews may be performed by automated tools.

You are responsible for your own due diligence. Before agreeing to a delivery, confirm licenses, operating authority, insurance, and references yourself.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information, misuse the Service, or put other users at risk.

5. Driver responsibilities

Drivers represent that they hold every license, registration, permit, and insurance policy required for the vehicles they operate and the loads they accept, that documents they upload are genuine and current, and that they will perform deliveries they agree to lawfully and safely.

6. Shipper responsibilities

Shippers represent that loads are accurately described, lawful to transport, and properly packaged, that they have the right to ship them, and that they will pay the Driver the agreed amount directly once the delivery is completed.

7. Fees

The Service is free to use. If Box Drivers ever introduces optional paid features, they will be clearly marked, shown before you are charged, and will never be a commission on any delivery. Everything you can do for free today stays free.

8. Tools and records

Messaging, check-ins, tracking pages, proof-of-delivery uploads, and payment status markers are record-keeping conveniences supplied by users. Box Drivers does not confirm that a delivery occurred, that freight arrived undamaged, or that a payment was made.

9. Conduct

Do not post misleading listings, misrepresent your qualifications, harass other users, upload content you do not have the right to share, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Box Drivers is not liable for any loss, damage, delay, injury, non-payment, or dispute arising from a listing, a user, or a delivery arranged between users, and its total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Box Drivers in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Box Drivers harmless from claims arising out of your listings, your deliveries, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
